Role Description The AI Engineer – RAL Aviation role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI models and tools to support aviation ERP solutions, focusing on pattern recognition, optimization, and intelligent automation for CAMO and MRO operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training machine learning and neural network models, implementing natural language processing features, and integrating AI components into existing software systems in collaboration with ERP and aviation domain experts. The role involves analyzing operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, ensuring solutions meet regulatory and safety requirements, and maintaining documentation and code quality.



The AI Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and support AI-enabled features that enhance decision-making and workflow performance.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
- Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, validation, and deployment of machine learning models.
- Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, information extraction, or chatbot/assistant development.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and applied statistics for building reliable and scalable AI solutions.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; experience in aviation, ERP, or industrial domains is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to building safe, compliant, and maintainable AI-driven solutions.
