Niyoos is an AI governance and observability platform. We sit between a company's AI agents and their model providers, and give them one place to see what those agents actually did — what each call cost, which model was really served, who had access, and what happened when something went wrong.

As teams move from one chatbot to dozens of autonomous agents, the problems stop being about models and start being about control: runaway spend, unclear permissions, no audit trail, and no way to prove to a customer or a regulator what an agent did on their data. Niyoos is the layer that answers those questions — unified monitoring, agent management, governance policies, usage analytics, cost caps, and a tamper-evident audit log.

We are a small, founder-led team. Decisions are fast, there are no layers, and the work is visible.

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote contract role for an AI Automation Engineer who builds agents and workflow automations in n8n (primary), Zapier and Make.

The core of the job is automating how Niyoos itself runs. Content publishing, lead research and enrichment, inbox and support triage, internal reporting — today these are done manually by a two-person team. You will replace them with agents that run reliably without supervision.

A deliberate part of the role: those agents run through the Niyoos proxy, using our own cost caps, logs and audit trail. That makes you our most demanding internal user. When our product is painful to build on, you will be the first to know and you are expected to say so.

Day to day

- Design, build and ship automation workflows and AI agents in n8n, Zapier and Make
- Integrate LLM providers, internal APIs, databases and third-party SaaS tools into reliable end-to-end flows
- Implement real error handling, retries, alerting and logging — not happy-path demos




- Monitor live workflows and fix them when they break, including silent failures
- Optimise existing workflows for reliability, latency and token cost
- Route agent traffic through the Niyoos proxy and work within its governance controls
- Document what you build so someone else can maintain it
- Feed product feedback to the founders based on what you hit while building

Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience building automation workflows in n8n (required), plus Zapier and/or Make
- Agents or automations you have run in production for real users, with examples you can show — not tutorial projects or demo videos
- Strong working knowledge of APIs, webhooks and REST integrations, including auth, pagination, rate limits and retries
- Scripting ability in JavaScript or Python, enough to write the glue code n8n cannot do natively
- Practical LLM experience: prompt design that survives messy input, structured outputs, tool calling, and handling model failures
- Comfort debugging integration problems across systems you did not build
- Clear written communication and self-direction — this is remote, part-time, and unsupervised
- Bonus: familiarity with AI observability or gateway tooling (LiteLLM, Helicone, Portkey, LangSmith or similar), or with vector databases and RAG pipelines
- Degree not required. What you have shipped decides this.

Note: this is software and AI workflow automation. It is not industrial, electrical, PLC/SCADA or robotics automation.

Terms

- Part time contract, 3-4 hours per day
- ₹85,000-₹1,50,000 per month, based on what you have actually shipped
