Role Description This full-time, in office role for an Agriculture graduate is based in Kolkata. The role involves applying agricultural knowledge to support raw material sourcing, quality assessment of timber and related inputs, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent supply for manufacturing.

The Agriculture graduate will assist in monitoring agricultural production trends relevant to the plywood and veneer industry,



analyzing data to support procurement decisions, and contributing to sustainable sourcing initiatives. Daily responsibilities include field visits when required, maintaining documentation, supporting sales and marketing with technical agricultural insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Agriculture and Agricultural Production, with the ability to apply concepts to industrial raw material sourcing and sustainability.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, assess material quality, and support decision-making in procurement and operations.
- Basic understanding of Sales processes, with the ability to provide agricultural and technical inputs to support customer solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related discipline.
- Interest in sustainable forestry, agro-based supply chains, and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, conduct occasional field visits, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with data reporting tools is an advantage.
