Role Description The Agri Drone Pilot role is a full-time, in office position based in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Agri Drone

Pilot will operate agricultural drones for spraying, mapping, and monitoring crops, following safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include pre-flight inspections, flight planning, executing missions, maintaining flight logs, and basic drone maintenance and troubleshooting. The role involves coordinating with field staff and farmers, ensuring accurate coverage, and optimizing drone operations for different crop and terrain conditions.

Pilot will also support training sessions, demonstrate drone operations, and provide feedback to the technical team to improve equipment performance and field workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Drone Piloting and Piloting skills, with hands-on experience operating multi-rotor or fixed-wing agricultural drones.

- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Drones and UAV systems, including basic hardware components, battery management, and flight control software.

- Candidates should possess the ability to provide Training on safe drone operations, field procedures, and best practices to teammates and end users.

- Familiarity with agricultural spraying operations, crop protection practices, and field safety standards is beneficial.

- Good spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions and regulatory requirements.

- Comfort working in outdoor field environments, often in rural areas and varying weather conditions.

- Basic computer skills and experience with mapping or mission-planning applications are an advantage.

- Relevant certifications in drone operation or UAV piloting, and a valid local license if required by regulations, are preferred.
