Description Deloitte is hiring an AI and Data Science Engineer II for its AI & Engineering team. The role focuses on building, deploying, and improving AI and data solutions with solid hands-on delivery.

Role: Agentic Solutions-AI and Data Science Engineer II

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Experience

- 3-6 years of relevant hands-on experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or NLP
- Individually deliver high-quality work products within due timelines
- Mentor or direct junior team members as needed
- Liaise with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements

Qualification

- BE/B.Tech
- M.C.A.
- M.Sc (CS)
- Equivalent degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities

- Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis
- Work across the software development lifecycle from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution
- Collaborate with stakeholders for effective delivery
- Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards
- Engage in Agile practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation
- Build and share business process knowledge
- Support project knowledge management and team training
- Recommend process improvements and track efficiency gains
- Contribute to automation and innovation
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms
- Integrate structured and unstructured data to generate insights
- Leverage cloud, edge, and AI/ML technologies for storage and processing
- Leverage automation and AI-based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions




- Drive operational efficiency across data ecosystems and application platforms
- Utilize analytics expertise to provide As-a-Service models
- Deliver AI/Gen AI projects across multiple industries and domains
- Understand business problem statements and project requirements
- Brainstorm, build, and improve AI/Gen AI models and agentic systems

Additional Responsibilities

- Work with data engineers, ML/AI engineers, prompt engineers, and other Data & AI professionals from inception to implementation
- Drive a human-led culture of Inclusion & Diversity by caring deeply for all team members
- Follow research papers and present innovative approaches and solutions related to Generative AI and Agentic AI components
- Identify scope for improvements and best practices in team-developed AI systems

Nice To Have

- Knowledge of Neo4J or relevant Graph DBs
- Familiarity with Docker containerization
- Familiarity with GIT
- AI/Cloud certification from a premier institute
