You'll build Vikasit Code, our agentic coding CLI and a drop-in alternative to Claude Code, Cursor, and Aider. Think tool-use, planning, code context, and a developer experience that feels effortless.
What you'll do
- —Design and ship agent loops, tools, and the CLI/desktop experience
- —Integrate MCP, LSP, git, and editor workflows (VS Code, Cursor, Zed)
- —Improve reliability and evals for agentic coding tasks (SWE-bench and real repos)
- —Obsess over latency and the feel of the developer experience
What we're looking for
- —Strong TypeScript/Node or Rust/Go; you've built developer tools
- —Hands-on with LLM tool-use / agent frameworks
- —Taste for excellent CLI/DX and pragmatic engineering
Nice to have
- —MCP server authoring
- —Compiler/LSP knowledge
- —Open-source maintainership
