We are looking for an experienced AEM Technical Architect to design and lead end-to-end technical solutions for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects. The role will provide architectural leadership across AEM Sites, AEM Assets/DAM, connected Adobe platforms, enterprise systems, content migration, metadata governance, and automated workflows.

The architect will work closely with customers, senior stakeholders, developers, content teams, publication teams, and localization teams to ensure scalable, secure, reusable, and production-ready AEM implementations. The role will also own the technical delivery of AEM page and asset migrations, ensuring content, structure, SEO, functionality, metadata, and assets are migrated accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Technical Architecture

- Define end-to-end solution architecture across AEM Sites, AEM Assets/DAM, Adobe and enterprise platforms.
- Create high-level architecture specifications, technical designs, architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and implementation blueprints.
- Assess technical feasibility, integration dependencies, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to AEM development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions follow AEM best practices, Adobe recommended patterns, coding standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Proactively identify and prevent technical debt and ensure architectural decisions support long-term maintainability.
- Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews with customer teams and senior stakeholders.

AEM Sites & Content Architecture
- Design scalable AEM Sites architectures supporting reusable components, templates, content fragments, experience fragments, and content models.
- Define reusable content frameworks that improve authoring efficiency and accelerate future delivery.
- Ensure content structures support SEO, accessibility, localization, personalization, and enterprise reuse requirements.
- Guide developers on component architecture, content modeling, workflows, integrations, and deployment approaches.

DAM, Metadata & Asset Governance
- Define and improve AEM DAM architecture, asset organization, metadata models, tagging strategies, naming conventions,



and governance processes.
- Ensure approved assets are correctly organized, tagged, validated, and governed for page publishing and enterprise reuse.
- Establish metadata and taxonomy standards that improve asset searchability, discoverability, reuse, and localization readiness.
- Validate asset availability, naming, completeness, renditions, metadata, and usage requirements before publication.
- Partner with content, publication, and localization teams to ensure assets are production-ready for rollout.
- Identify and resolve asset-related gaps that could cause publishing or delivery delays.

AI-Enabled Migration & Automation
- Leverage AI platforms and intelligent automation to plan, accelerate, and execute AEM content and asset migrations.
- Design AI-assisted approaches for content analysis, mapping, transformation, classification, tagging, metadata enrichment, and validation.
- Architect automated workflows and integrations to reduce manual migration and content-management effort.
- Use AI and automation to identify migration gaps, content quality issues, metadata inconsistencies, duplicate assets, and content transformation requirements.
- Define appropriate validation, governance, and human-review mechanisms for AI-assisted migration processes.

AEM Migration
- Own and drive end-to-end AEM page and content migration, from discovery and planning through execution, validation, and production rollout.
- Define migration strategy, content mapping, source-to-target transformation rules, migration tooling, sequencing, dependencies, and validation processes.
- Ensure migrated pages accurately preserve:
- Content and page structure
- Components and templates
- URLs and redirects
- SEO metadata
- Tags and taxonomy
- DAM references and assets
- Internal and external links
- Localization requirements
- Authoring and publishing functionality




- Establish migration validation and reconciliation processes to ensure production readiness.
- Identify migration risks early and drive resolution with development, content, business, and customer teams.

Technical Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Own the overall technical delivery of AEM solutions to customers.
- Act as the primary technical authority for architecture, integration, migration, and technical delivery decisions.
- Work directly with customer architects, product owners, technical leads, and senior stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical workshops, design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and architecture discussions.
- Support developers in troubleshooting complex AEM issues and resolving technical blockers.
- Ensure solutions are delivered within agreed scope, quality, performance, and architectural standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience as an AEM Technical Architect / Solution Architect with hands-on AEM expertise.
- Proven experience with AEM Sites and AEM Assets/DAM.
- Strong understanding of AEM architecture, content modeling, components, templates, workflows, tagging, metadata, and publishing.
- Experience designing integrations between AEM, Adobe platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in end-to-end AEM page/content migration.
- Experience with DAM migration, asset governance, metadata management, taxonomy, and tagging strategies.
- Proven experience leveraging AI platforms for AEM content migration, content transformation, metadata enrichment, classification, or workflow automation.
- Experience designing automated workflows and migration solutions.
- Strong solution architecture and architecture-development skills.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, integration designs, and implementation blueprints.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Robust problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of AEM best practices and ability to identify and prevent technical debt.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior customer and enterprise stakeholders.
