About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Adobe InDesign Designer to support our team on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in document layout, typography, table formatting, and creating clean, professional, and consistent page designs.

The role will primarily involve working on structured documents and publications while maintaining established design standards, styles, and formatting guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and format documents using Adobe InDesign.
- Create professional and visually appealing page layouts for various types of documents.
- Design and format tables, charts, and other structured content.
- Manage and apply paragraph styles, character styles, object styles, and text formatting consistently.
- Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, alignment, margins, headers, footers, and page elements.
- Format large volumes of text while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Work with master pages, templates, style sheets, and linked text frames.
- Handle page numbering, cross-references, indexes, and other document formatting requirements as needed.
- Review documents for layout, formatting, and typographical inconsistencies.
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure final files meet required specifications.




- Prepare print-ready and/or digital-ready InDesign files and PDFs when required.
- Maintain organized and editable source files for future updates.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign.
- Good understanding of qualified document layout and typography.
- Excellent knowledge of Paragraph Styles, Character Styles, Object Styles, Master Pages, Tables, and Text Frames.
- Experience handling long-form documents and documents with complex formatting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain formatting consistency across multiple pages.
- Ability to follow existing templates, brand guidelines, and formatting specifications.
- Good command of written English and understanding of professional document formatting.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.

Preferred
- Experience working on reports, publications, manuals, books, brochures, catalogs, presentations, or other long-format documents.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an advantage.
- Experience with data-heavy documents and complex tables is a plus.

Engagement This is a freelance / contract-based opportunity with assignments provided as required. The workload may vary depending on project requirements.

Work Location: 100% Remote

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
