We are looking for an experienced individual accreditation consultant who has previously worked with clients in India to obtain or prepare for:

- ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
- NABL accreditation
- STQC certification/accreditation, as applicable

The consultant should have practical, end-to-end experience managing accreditation engagements rather than only theoretical knowledge of the standards. We are specifically looking for someone who has worked directly with organizations through documentation, implementation, internal assessments, corrective actions, external audits, and final accreditation.

Prior experience working with IT, software testing, software quality assurance, cybersecurity, or other technology-focused laboratories and organizations is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities The consultant will be expected to:

- Assess the organization's current readiness against applicable ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and/or STQC requirements
- Conduct a detailed gap assessment and define an accreditation roadmap
- Identify documentation, process, infrastructure, competency, and compliance gaps
- Develop and/or review required policies, procedures, SOPs, manuals, records, and supporting documentation
- Guide the team in implementing the required quality management and technical processes
- Support preparation of the Quality Manual and relevant technical documentation
- Define document control, record management, corrective action, risk management, and internal audit processes
- Guide implementation of personnel competency and training requirements
- Assist with equipment calibration, traceability, testing processes,



and laboratory-related requirements where applicable
- Provide guidance on accreditation requirements relevant to IT, software testing, software quality, and technology-based testing environments
- Conduct or support internal audits and management reviews
- Identify non-conformities and guide the organization in completing corrective and preventive actions
- Support preparation and submission of accreditation applications and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with the internal team during NABL/STQC assessment and audit stages
- Help prepare the organization for assessor queries, observations, and non-conformities
- Support closure of findings raised during external assessments
- Provide guidance until the organization is accreditation-ready and, preferably, through successful completion of the accreditation process

Mandatory Experience The ideal consultant should have:

- Proven experience working as an ISO/IEC 17025 / NABL accreditation consultant
- Previous experience obtaining or supporting accreditation on behalf of clients in India
- Hands-on understanding of the complete NABL accreditation lifecycle
- Experience preparing organizations for external assessments and assessor visits
- Experience resolving audit observations and non-conformities
- Robust knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 documentation and implementation requirements
- Familiarity with relevant NABL policies, procedures, application processes, and assessment requirements
- Experience with STQC-related certification, assessment, or accreditation processes is highly preferred
- Ability to independently drive an accreditation project from gap assessment through assessment closure
