- Daily Accounting: Record daily financial transactions, sales invoices, purchase entries, and expense vouchers in the accounting software (like Tally or SAP and MARG).
- Billing & Invoicing: Generate invoices for pharmaceutical product sales to distributors, stockists, or hospitals.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Follow up with clients for timely payments and process vendor and supplier payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements with company ledgers on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Statutory Compliance: Assist with filing GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other mandatory tax returns.
- Audit Support: Prepare ledger accounts, vouchers, and supporting documents during internal or statutory audits.
- Inventory Valuation:
Coordinate with the warehouse team to match stock records with financial figures.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in an accounting role. Prior experience in a manufacturing, pharma, or FMCG company is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (MARG, Tally ERP 9, TallyPrime, or SAP).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS).
- Positive attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
