Role Description The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts for the logistics business.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking receivables and payables, assisting with payroll entries, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai,



requiring regular collaboration with operations and management to support informed financial decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including ledger management, account reconciliation, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including data entry, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, invoicing, billing processes, and compliance with relevant local financial regulations.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
