Role Description The Accountant role at RNG Group of Institutions (RNGI) is a full-time, on-site position based in Etmadpur. The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining books of accounts, preparing vouchers, posting entries, and reconciling bank statements. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial reports, assisting in budgeting, monitoring expenses, and supporting audits and compliance with institutional and statutory requirements.

The Accountant will coordinate with departments to ensure accurate fee collection, payroll processing, vendor payments, and documentation of all financial transactions. The role involves working closely with the finance and administration teams to support transparent, efficient, and timely financial management for the institution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid accounting and bookkeeping skills,



including experience with ledgers, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to educational institutions and non-profit societies.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office tools, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess analytical and numerical skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support budgeting and cost control.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with management, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; qualified certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within an educational institution or similar organization will be beneficial, along with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
