Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include supporting tax computation and compliance, assisting in audits, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves preparing management reports, monitoring cash flows,



and coordinating with clients and internal teams on finance-related queries. The Accountant is expected to follow professional standards, meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvements within the firm.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
- Experience with taxation, compliance, and basic audit procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; pursuing or completed CA/CPA is an advantage
- Prior experience in a CA firm or corporate finance environment is preferred
