About Us:
NexG Future India Pvt Ltd is a general trade company in the electronic gadgets sector, operating retail showrooms across Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Head Office team in Pattom.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting operations for our general trade business, overseeing financial records across our 4 showrooms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in retail/trade accounting and will be based at our Head Office in Pattom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including purchase, sales, and stock accounting for 4 showrooms
- Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and showroom cash/sales reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinate with showroom teams for accurate reporting of daily sales and stock data
- Assist in preparing MIS reports and financial summaries for management
- Support internal and statutory audits
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com in Commerce or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail/general trade
- Strong knowledge of Tally/accounting software, GST, and TDS compliance
- Good command over MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multi-location accounting (showroom-based data consolidation)
- Good communication skills
Location: Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram (Head Office) Working Hour : 9.30am to 6.30 pm
