GOLD’S - GYM is looking for a energetic Senior Accountant with 2-4 years of experience in accounting.

Location: Mumbai [Maharashtra]: Manpada Thane [West]

Shop No 6, Kothari Premises, 9 Acre, Behind Happy Valley, Manpada Thane West.

Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 K per month.

Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), M.Com.

Experience: 2 – 4 years of proven work experience in accounting.

Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Senior Accounts Executive to join our team. The person is responsible for managing the daily financial pulse of the gym, ensuring that memberships are paid, vendors are handled, and the books stay balanced.

Responsibilities:

- Membership Revenue & Billing Management: Oversee recurring membership billing cycles, process refunds, and reconcile deferred revenue.
- Commission & Payroll Processing: Calculate and audit personal trainer commissions, class-rate compensation, bonus structures, and general staff payroll.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with a focus on key fitness metrics like Average Revenue Per Member (ARPU), churn rate impact, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Inventory & Retail Accounting: Track inventory levels,



cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue for pro shops, supplements, and gym apparel.
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Lead annual budgeting and monthly variance reporting to compare projected vs. actual revenue across membership types, personal training, and ancillary services.
- Reconciliation & Cash Flow: Perform daily/monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, merchant processor accounts (POS and automated recurring payment gateways), and credit card payments.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate handling and timely filing of local sales taxes, payroll taxes, corporate taxes, and industry-specific licenses.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Maintain internal control policies for cash handling at front desks, inventory management, and expense approvals across all gym branches.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience (2 – 4 years) in accounting, with strong academic knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP 9 and basic accounting principles (Debit/Credit, Accruals).
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Advanced Excel for data management).
