Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting entries, bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.

Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase entries, sales entries, debit/credit notes and payment records.

Perform bank, cash, customer and vendor reconciliations.

Maintain records of purchases, sales, expenses, receipts and payments.

Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.

Track outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely follow-ups.

Assist in monthly closing and preparation of P&L;, balance sheet and MIS reports.

Support inventory and stock-related accounting and reconciliation.

Manage and verify commission calculations and payouts, reconcile commission statements with sales/invoice data and maintain accurate commission-related records.

Identify discrepancies and ensure accurate, complete and audit-ready accounting records.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.





2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in retail, fashion, apparel, FMCG or D2C.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledgers, payables, receivables and financial reporting.

Working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.

Experience with bank, vendor, customer and stock reconciliations.

Good understanding of inventory accounting and accounting across online and offline sales channels will be preferred.

Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to work independently.
