We are looking for an experienced Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting activities, cash management, receivables, statutory reports, and general bookkeeping. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting procedures and hands-on experience with Tally, MS Excel, GST and TDS-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain cash records.
- Monitor and follow up on Debtors / Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare and maintain Debtors Ageing Reports.
- Assist in preparation and submission of GST reports and returns.
- Prepare and submit TDS reports and related documentation.
- Verify and maintain accounting records and supporting documents.
- Process payments and maintain payment-related records.
- Handle employee-related payments such as stipend/salary payments as required.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / BBM / BBA / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounts & Finance.
- Candidates with relevant accounting experience will be preferred.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in GST, TDS, cash handling, bookkeeping, debtors management and accounting entries is preferred.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
