Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage and oversee the financial, accounting, taxation and compliance functions of our jewellery business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, monitoring inventory and providing financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the jewellery store.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and other financial reports.
- Ensure accurate accounting of gold, silver, diamond and other jewellery inventory.
- Monitor stock reconciliation, purchases, sales, wastage, making charges and inventory valuation.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns and other applicable returns.
- Coordinate with auditors and handle statutory, tax and internal audits.
- Review purchase and sales invoices, expenses, payments and receipts.
- Monitor receivables, payables, bank transactions and cash flows.
- Establish and monitor proper financial controls to minimize errors, fraud and financial risks.
- Regularly reconcile bank, cash, customer, supplier and inventory accounts.
- Verify financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and approvals.




- Provide management with MIS reports, financial analysis and business insights.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with management, accountants, bankers, auditors and other external professionals.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts or inventory and report them to management immediately.

Candidate Requirements
- CA qualification is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in retail, jewellery or trading business will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of inventory accounting and financial controls.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to independently handle financial and compliance responsibilities.

Preferred Experieence Experience post-qualification experience preferred, particularly in retail, jewellery, trading or inventory-intensive businesses.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
