Hospital is expanding its services with a new Oncology unit that will provide radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgical oncology, and pain and palliative care. The organization focuses on high-quality patient care, clinical excellence, and continuous service development.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in the Dhanbad-Ranchi area.
The Account
Manager will oversee key patient, corporate, and insurance accounts, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and effective relationship management. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, handling queries related to invoices and tariffs, tracking account performance, and preparing regular reports for management. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, TPAs, and other stakeholders, resolving issues promptly, and supporting contract renewals and negotiations.
The Account
Manager will also contribute to process improvements, adherence to hospital policies, and a positive experience for patients and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in client and stakeholder relationship management, including the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
- Proficiency in account handling, billing, and collections, with attention to accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up.
- Solid analytical and reporting abilities, including working with spreadsheets or hospital information systems to track account performance and prepare summaries.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical, administrative, and finance teams.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hospital workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Healthcare Management, or a related field; relevant experience in hospital, healthcare, or insurance account management is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing practices, TPAs, insurance processes, and regulatory guidelines will be an advantage.
- Comfort with using hospital information systems and common office software; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work on-site, maintain confidentiality of patient and financial data, and uphold ethical and professional standards.
