About Hyppy

Hyppy is a Bangalore-based home décor brand. We design framed wall art, tapestries, rugs and cushions in-house and sell them direct to customers across India. We ship a few thousand orders a month and we are growing quickly. The team is small, which means this role carries real ownership from week one rather than a queue to work through.

The role

You will own the day-to-day execution of payments and the books behind them, so that vendors get paid on time, every rupee is reconciled against a bill, and our CA gets clean data every month.

It is a role with a lot of trust in it, and we will treat it that way.

What you will own

- Weekly vendor payment runs against approved, invoice-matched files.
- Monthly salary processing and statutory deductions, with our CA.
- Petty cash and reimbursements — every entry reconciled against a bill, weekly, no exceptions.
- Courier and software wallet balances,



so that dispatch never stops for an empty account.
- The vendor ledger — every vendor account agreed and closed monthly.
- Bank reconciliation, and preparing GST input data and monthly books for our CA.
- Flagging anything that looks wrong. You are the second pair of eyes on money in this company, and we want you to use them.

What we are looking for

- 2 to 4 years in accounts payable, bookkeeping or general accounts.
- B.Com or equivalent. CA Inter is welcome but not required.
- Working knowledge of Tally or Zoho Books, and comfortable with GST and TDS basics — our CA handles filings, you prepare the data.
- Valuable with spreadsheets and genuinely careful with numbers.
- Discreet and reliable. You will see everything.
