Role Description The Academic Counselor role is a full-time, in office position based in Coimbatore. The counselor will support learners by providing guidance on academic pathways, course selections, and skill development opportunities aligned with their goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, understanding student backgrounds and aspirations, and recommending suitable educational and training programs.





The role involves collaborating with internal teams to align counseling with company offerings, maintaining accurate counseling records, and following up with students to track progress and outcomes.

The Academic

Counselor will also participate in outreach activities, workshops, and information sessions to help prospective students make informed decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners in academic and professional decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly and empathetically with students, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Academic Advising and Education-related knowledge to recommend suitable courses, programs, and learning paths.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling, student services, or education management is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage multiple student cases, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and basic computer skills will be an advantage.
