Role Description The Academic Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves advising prospective students on suitable study abroad destinations, universities, and programs aligned with their academic profile and career goals.

The Academic

Consultant will conduct counseling sessions, explain admission and visa processes, support documentation and application preparation, and coordinate with internal teams for finance, visa, and post-arrival assistance.



Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, maintaining student records, following up on application status, and delivering clear guidance on timelines and requirements. The role also includes building strong relationships with students and families, contributing to outreach activities, and meeting enrollment and service quality targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including explicit verbal and written interaction with students and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills, such as understanding international academic pathways and university admission processes.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and Coaching skills to provide structured guidance, mentorship, and personalized study abroad plans.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining an ethical, student-centric approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field; prior experience in overseas education consulting is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of major study destinations (especially the UK) and current international education trends is an advantage.
