Somatheeram Ayurvedic Hospital & Yoga Centre, an internationally acclaimed Ayurveda hospital set in a serene resort ambiance, is seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across the resort. The role involves installing, inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing AC units, carrying out preventive maintenance, identifying technical issues, and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently while maintaining the resort’s high standards of guest comfort, safety, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air-conditioning systems and equipment.
- Ensure air-conditioning equipment, ventilation systems, and controls operate efficiently and continuously.
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on cooling units and AC systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects, faults, and malfunctions in AC equipment.
- Install, replace, and repair damaged or defective components and equipment.
- Adjust and calibrate thermostats and other temperature control systems to ensure optimal performance.




- Install new air-conditioning systems and related equipment as per required specifications.
- Clean blowers, coils, filters, and other AC components to maintain system efficiency.
- Inspect belt tension, motors, electrical connections, and other mechanical components and carry out necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Prepare plans and designs for new air-conditioning systems, including installation and maintenance requirements.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair refrigerators, ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacement of AC and refrigeration equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
- Air conditioning: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
- EPA Type II (Preferred)
