About the Role Quantum Arcadia is looking for a passionate 3D Character Artist to join our Art Team.

We are building an immersive VR game and need an artist who can bring visually striking characters to life. You should be highly versatile and able to adapt to different art styles based on the project's requirements.

This is an opportunity to work closely with our art and development teams and contribute directly to the visual quality of our VR experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Model and sculpt appealing low to mid-poly characters.
- Optimize character meshes to ensure smooth performance and high frame rates in VR.
- Handle efficient UV unwrapping and texturing.
- Work closely with the art and development teams to maintain a consistent visual style.
- Export, test,



and integrate character assets directly into the game engine.

Required Skills & Software

- Proficiency in Blender and Maya for 3D modeling and retopology.
- Solid texturing skills in any texturing software.
- Good grasp of proportions, silhouettes, and character design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing low to mid-poly character art and game assets.

Valuable to Have (Bonus Skills)

- Prior experience working on PC or VR game development cycles.
- Deep understanding of VR optimization techniques, including managing poly counts, clean topology, and reducing draw calls.
- Basic knowledge of the Unity engine and asset export pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of character rigging.
