Oracle Cerner PharmNet | Pharmacy Systems | Medication Management | EHR
Deep PharmNet expertise. Broader ownership. Script Assist is looking for an experienced Oracle Cerner PharmNet / pharmacy-systems specialist with deep knowledge of medication-management and pharmacy workflows.
This is deliberately a specialist search.
We want someone who genuinely understands pharmacy functionality inside a complex EHR environment, ideally through Oracle Health / Cerner PharmNet .
You do not need to be an established senior manager.
You may be:
An experienced PharmNet Consultant
A Senior Delivery Consultant
A PharmNet Analyst
A Pharmacy Application Specialist
A Pharmacy Module Lead
A strong 4–6 year specialist ready for broader ownership
Equivalent deep experience with another major pharmacy module such as Epic Willow, InterSystems TrakCare, MEDITECH Pharmacy, eClinicalWorks pharmacy or another substantial EHR pharmacy system may also be relevant.
You will work closely with our Director of Pharmacy and take increasing ownership across the Script Assist pharmacy platform and pharmacy customers.
About Script Assist Script Assist is building the operating system for next-generation private healthcare in the UK.
Our software is used by clinics, pharmacies and healthcare operators and already supports tens of thousands of medical cannabis prescriptions every month .
Our pharmacy platform supports complex workflows across:
Prescription processing
Pharmacist review
Clinical checking
Dispensing
Medication and product data
Inventory
Stock
Batch and expiry management
Order management
Fulfilment
Delivery
Reconciliation
User roles and permissions
Reporting
Integrations
We are looking for someone who can bring genuine enterprise pharmacy-system expertise into this environment.
Your PharmNet / pharmacy-module expertise The strongest candidates will have substantial experience with Oracle Health / Cerner PharmNet .
Relevant PharmNet experience may include:
Medication Orders
Pharmacy Verification
Medication Profiles
Medication Reconciliation
MAR / eMAR
Formulary
Medication catalogue
Dispensing
Clinical checking
Pharmacy work queues
Profiling Queue
Order routing
Rules and alerts
Roles and permissions
Pharmacy configuration
Interfaces
Inventory
Medication workflows
Inpatient pharmacy
Outpatient pharmacy
UAT
Go-live
Hypercare
Production support
We are looking for someone who understands the medication lifecycle and the system logic behind it .
Not merely someone who has worked on a Cerner programme.
Equivalent pharmacy platforms Although PharmNet is our strongest target, equivalent deep pharmacy-module experience may also come from:
Epic Willow
InterSystems / TrakCare Pharmacy
MEDITECH Pharmacy
eClinicalWorks
Dedalus
Altera / Allscripts
Omnicell
BD / Pyxis
Other substantial EHR / HIS pharmacy modules
Pharmacy Management Systems
Medication Management Systems
Hospital Pharmacy Systems
PMR systems
Dispensing platforms
If your experience is with another platform, the key question is whether you have personally worked deeply with pharmacy and medication workflows .
The role You will work closely with our Director of Pharmacy and become a senior contributor to pharmacy-system behaviour, requirements and customer delivery.
You will help us understand:
How the pharmacy operates
How the current workflow works

How the system is configured
Whether configuration is correct
Whether roles or permissions are right
Whether an issue is data-related
Whether an issue is integration-related
Whether a user is following the correct process
Whether there is a genuine defect
Whether Product needs to build something new
You will not simply collect requirements.
You should be able to understand, challenge and improve them .
⚙️ Configuration and workflow ownership You should be comfortable working close to pharmacy-system configuration.
Your experience may include:
Workflow configuration
Medication configuration
Pharmacy settings
System rules
Role-based permissions
Medication-order workflows
Verification workflows
Dispensing workflows
Clinical rules
Interfaces
Data mapping
Pharmacy work queues
UAT
Testing
Defect investigation
Release validation
Root-cause analysis
Production troubleshooting
When something behaves incorrectly, we want someone who can reason through why .
Client-facing ownership This role is not purely internally facing.
You will work directly with UK pharmacies and healthcare customers.
You will:
Join and increasingly lead pharmacy client calls
Understand workflows
Ask detailed questions
Explain system behaviour
Challenge assumptions
Push back professionally
Manage expectations
Prioritise requirements
Give clear updates
Support implementations
Support optimisation
Own actions through to completion
You do not need years of account-management experience.
But you must be able to communicate clearly and credibly with clients.
Product judgement A major part of this role is deciding what should actually happen.
You should naturally ask:
Is this genuinely a product gap?
Can configuration solve it?
Is this a training issue?
Is there a safer workflow?
What pharmacy consequences matter?
What edge cases matter?
Which customers would benefit?
What should be prioritised?
What should Product and Engineering actually build?
You should be able to move from:
“The customer asked for X.” to:
“This is the underlying pharmacy problem, this is how the workflow operates, and this is the right system response.”
️ Working with Product & Engineering You will work closely with:
Director of Pharmacy
Product
Engineering
QA
Implementation
Customer Support
Client teams
You may:
Translate pharmacy requirements into product requirements
Define expected system behaviour
Review user stories
Help define acceptance criteria
Support backlog prioritisation
Participate in UAT
Validate fixes
Investigate production issues
Support releases
Identify recurring product problems
Improve pharmacy workflows over time
