Job Summary: We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Workplace Architect to lead and oversee the design process for corporate interior projects in our Bangalore Studio (Innovatecture Design Services LLP). The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of workplace design, space planning, and project delivery while managing cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence and timely execution.
The candidate is responsible for leading the strategic planning, design, and implementation of workplace environments that enhance productivity, collaboration, employee experience, and operational efficiency. This role blends architecture, workplace strategy, technology integration, and change management to create future-ready spaces aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Strategy & Planning · Develop and implement holistic workplace strategies that support organizational culture, business objectives, and evolving work models (hybrid, remote, on-site).
· Conduct space utilization studies, occupancy analysis, and forecasting to inform long-term real-estate planning.
· Translate business requirements into architectural programs, design briefs, and workplace concepts.
Design Leadership · Lead the conceptual and schematic design of new workplaces, renovations, and workplace transformations.
· Ensure design solutions prioritize employee well-being, accessibility, sustainability, and corporate branding.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external architects, engineers, and consultants throughout design and build phases.
Technology & Innovation · Integrate workplace technologies such as smart building systems, AV/VC, IoT sensors, booking systems, and digital workplace tools.
· Evaluate emerging technologies and design trends to ensure the workplace remains future-ready.




· Well- equipped on collaborating with consultants who expertise in Lighting design, Acoustic design, LEED and other special services related to workplace.
Project Delivery · Oversee workplace projects from concept through construction and post-occupancy.
· Create and review architectural drawings, specifications, test fits, and space plans.
· Manage budgets, schedules, Bill of Quantity reviews, and vendor/consultant/IPC relationships.
· Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and building codes.

Design Skills:
Experience of preparing test- fit layouts as per client requirements.
Preparation of Budgets, Construction documents, shop drawings. Knowledge in Preparation of BOQs shall be an added capability.
Material selection, conceptualization for design pitches, Creative thinking.
Preparation of Design Presentations for Design Pitches and projects.
Collaborate with senior management to set design standards and vision.

Team Management & Mentoring:
Supervise and mentor junior designers and CAD/BIM staff.
Conduct regular design critiques and training sessions to elevate team output.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the design phase.
Translate client needs into spatial and functional design solutions.
Lead client meetings, design presentations, and approvals.
Quality Control:




Ensure all design outputs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
Review and approve detailed drawings, material selections, and construction documentation.
Qualifications · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
· 6-8+ years of experience in workplace design, corporate real estate, or architectural project delivery.
· Architecture license or certification (e.g., Bsc. Interior Design, B.Arch, M.Arch, Msc. Interior Design) preferred.
· Strong proficiency in design and planning tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photshop, space-management software).
· Knowledge of building codes, ADA/accessibility requirements, and sustainability standards (LEED, WELL).
· Experience with hybrid workplace strategies and technology-enabled environments.

Work Environment:
Work from office - Monday to Friday with Alternate Saturday working.
On-site (office/site/client visits as needed).
