Role Description This part-time remote role is for an Online Economics Teacher for grades 11 and 12, focusing on Cambridge and IB curricula, with training provided for these programs. The teacher will conduct live, interactive online classes, explain core and advanced economics concepts, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, delivering sessions in fluent English, assigning and reviewing homework, preparing students for assessments, and organizing quizzes and practice tests. The teacher will provide ongoing doubt clarification, track student progress, share feedback with learners and guardians,



and collaborate with the academic team to improve teaching materials and strategies.
*REMUNERATION - 550/hour for 11-12th and 450/hour for 9-10th ( only for those who have positive experience with IB and Cambridge curriculum preferably who worked in school)*

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business Economics, with the ability to teach higher secondary (grades 11 and 12) level content.
- Proficiency in Teaching and Education practices, including classroom management in an online setting and student engagement strategies.
- Competence in Lesson Planning, curriculum alignment, and adapting materials to Cambridge and IB standards (training will be provided).
- Fluency in English, with clear communication skills for explanation, discussion, and feedback in a virtual classroom environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Education, or a related field.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital tools, and basic technology troubleshooting.
- Ability to work full-time in a remote setup, maintain punctuality, and manage a structured teaching schedule.
- Previous experience teaching senior secondary students or international curricula (IB/Cambridge) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
