Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of International Codes and Standards like ASME, ISO, DIN, IS, etc.

• Knowledge of fabrication work, GD&T;, manufacturing, fabrication, and welding processes.

• Making P&IDs; as per tender specifications, selection of pipes and fittings.

• Piping design, pressure vessel design, selection of valves, flanges, fittings, and equipment like

pumps, etc.

• Preparing Bill of Material off all parts for material order.

• 3D modelling of the entire project and associated equipment as per the drawings, making 2D

drawings for parts & assemblies, isometric drawings for piping layouts as per industry standard

practices using GD&T;





• Creative concept generation, cost reduction, standardization.

• Documentation of design and project related work.

• Mechanical Design Calculations

• Must have the knowledge about ASME & ISO standard

• Documentation skill- Bill of material, Datasheets and Related documents.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Independent working ability with good communication & management skills.

• Should have good drafting speed & be able to visualize Structural drawings.

• Should be conversant with Solid Works, DraftSight, word, and Excel & have an aptitude for Design

work.

• In-depth knowledge of Solid Works 3D CAD software and understanding of current manufacturing

technologies.

• Must have a good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts.

• The Candidate should have the following skill set

• Research, design, evaluate, products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements,

applying knowledge of engineering principles
