Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Engineering or related discipline

Preferred:

Master's degree or certification in Innovation Management, Product Management, Design Thinking, Business Strategy, or related fields.

Product Experience Technical Expertise:

- Experience in Automotive RD, Product Development, Advanced Engineering, Innovation Management, or Technology Planning.
- Understanding of innovation frameworks, stage-gate processes, and portfolio management.
- Exposure to technology scouting, benchmarking, trend analysis, and chance identification.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IPR), patent disclosures, and innovation governance.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and experimentation methodologies.
- Exposure to EV, SDV, ADAS/ARAS, Connected Vehicle, Digital Cockpit, AI, Sustainability, Lighting, and Acoustics technologies is preferred.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Drive the end-to-end innovation management process across CREAT from idea generation to implementation.
- Identify innovation opportunities through technology scouting, customer insights, benchmarking, and market trend analysis.
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future mobility trends.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and track innovation initiatives based on strategic alignment, feasibility, and business impact.
- Manage a balanced portfolio of incremental, architectural, disruptive, and breakthrough innovation projects.
- Facilitate ideation workshops, invention harvesting sessions, innovation challenges,



and design sprints.
- Support proof-of-concept development, prototyping, pilot programs, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and INITIA teams to accelerate innovation execution.
- Drive innovation culture, employee engagement, and capability-building initiatives across CREAT.
- Collaborate with IPR and Legal teams to identify, document, and protect intellectual property.
- Support invention disclosure preparation, patent pipeline development, and IP awareness programs.
- Build and maintain knowledge repositories covering emerging technologies, patents, startups, competitors, and industry trends.
- Establish and support collaboration with startups, universities, research institutes, and technology partners.
- Support deployment and continuous improvement of innovation management practices aligned with ISO 56000 principles.

Monitor and report innovation KPIs, portfolio health, implementation status, and value realization.
