Role & responsibilities

- Drive sales and achieve targets for IVD products and equipment in Government accounts.
- Develop business opportunities with State and Central Government hospitals, medical colleges, laboratories and healthcare institutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with government customers, laboratory heads, procurement teams, biomedical departments and hospital administrators.
- Identify and manage Government tenders, GeM and e-tendering opportunities, including tender participation, documentation, submission and follow-up.
- Coordinate with distributors and channel partners for tender execution and order fulfilment.
- Conduct regular customer visits for business development and account management.
- Support IVD equipment demonstrations, evaluations, installations and customer training with internal teams.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and Government procurement requirements.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reports and tender updates and maintain CRM records.
- Coordinate with Application,



Service, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams for smooth execution of Government business.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- IVD / In-Vitro Diagnostics industry experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in selling IVD equipment / analyzers is mandatory.
- Prior experience in Government Business / Government Sales is mandatory.
- Experience in Government tenders, GeM and e-tendering will be preferred.
- Experience handling Government hospitals, medical colleges, laboratories or institutional accounts.
- Science/technical educational background such as B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related fields.
- Experience in distributor/channel partner management is preferred.
- Robust communication, negotiation, relationship management and business development skills.
