Role: Senior ControlM Engineer / Lead

Experience: 3 9 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary

- We are looking for a Senior ControlM Engineer with strong expertise in ControlM architecture, advanced job scheduling, and enterprise workload automation.

- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in ControlM components (EM, Server, Agent) and should be actively working in a 247 production support environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and manage enterprise batch workloads using ControlM
- Perform job creation, scheduling, and workflow design across complex environments
- Handle ControlM architecture (EM, Server, Agent) including administration and troubleshooting
- Manage end-to-end batch lifecycle including dependencies, calendars, and conditions
- Perform ControlM upgrades, patching, and migrations
- Investigate and resolve critical job failures, performance issues, and SLA breaches
- Provide L3 production support in a 247 workplace
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis(RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Manage ControlM user access, security, and audit compliance
- Work with cross-functional teams (App, DB, Infra) for release & batch alignment




- Develop and maintain runbooks,SOPs, and documentation
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer

Mandatory Skills (STRICT – MUST HAVE)

- Strong hands-on experience in ControlM architecture:
- Enterprise Manager (EM)
- ControlM Server
- ControlM Agent

- Hands-on expertise in:

- Job creation & scheduling
- Workflow / job flow design
- Dependencies & calendar management

- Experience in ControlM administration:

- Installation, configuration
- Agent deployment
- Upgrades / patching

- Experience in 247 production support environment:

- Incident management
- RCA
- SLA handling

- Strong knowledge of:

- Unix/Linux
- SQL
- Batch processing

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

- ControlM Modules:
- AFT / MFT
- SAP / DB / Informatica

- ControlM Automation API
- Scripting: Shell / Python
- Experience with cloud (AWS / Azure)
- Exposure to migration / HA / DR setups

Soft Skills

- Strong communication & stakeholder handling
- Ability to work in high-pressure production environments
