Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily transportation operations for inbound and outbound shipments.

Ensure timely vehicle placement as per dispatch requirements.

Track vehicle movement and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Handle transporter/vendor coordination and maintain healthy business relationships.

Monitor detention, transit delays, POD submissions, and freight billing activities.

Prepare daily MIS reports, shipment status reports, and KPI trackers.

Coordinate with warehouse, customer, and finance teams for smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and operational SOPs.

Resolve operational escalations related to delays, shortages, damages, or billing issues.

Optimize freight utilization and support cost-control initiatives.

Maintain records of invoices, e-way bills, LR copies, PODs, and transporter documents.

Support audit activities and operational reviews.

Required Skills





Valuable knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.

Understanding of freight management and vehicle planning.

Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, WMS, or TMS systems.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to handle multiple transporters and urgent operational requirements.

Problem-solving and escalation handling capability.

Knowledge of logistics documentation and compliance processes.

Experience

02 years of experience in transportation/logistics operations.

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, 3PL, or warehousing industry preferred.
