We are looking for a Marathi Translator / Translation Checker with a strong command of the Marathi language to review and translate content accurately.

Eligibility & Requirements

- B.A. or M.A. in Marathi is required.
- Candidates with a Marathi teaching background are preferred.
- Excellent command of Marathi grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Valuable English and Marathi communication skills.
- Ability to translate content from English to Marathi accurately and naturally.
- Ability to proofread and review Marathi translations for grammar, meaning, and language quality.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify translation errors.
- Ability to maintain the original meaning, tone, and context while translating.
- Strong reading and writing skills in Marathi.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Word/Excel or online tools.
- Prior experience in translation, proofreading, teaching, content writing, or language-related work will be an advantage.

Role & responsibilities





- Review and validate the English to Marathi translation of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across subjects such as Mathematics, General Knowledge, Pedagogy, Science, Reasoning and others.
- Ensure translations are accurate, grammatically correct, culturally appropriate, and consistent with the original English content, while preserving the meaning and technical terminology.
- Identify and correct translation errors, spelling, grammar, punctuation, terminology, and formatting issues, and deliver high-quality work within the assigned timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

- Excellent written proficiency in both English and Marathi, with strong translation and proofreading skills.
- Positive academic knowledge across multiple subjects, enabling accurate review of educational and competitive exam content.
- Prior experience in translation, localization, proofreading, or educational content review will be preferred.
