Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Hardware, Network & Procurement Executive to oversee our organizations IT infrastructure and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our IT assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting hardware and networks, while also bringing strong sales and purchase experience to manage IT vendor relationships, negotiate equipment purchases, and handle the resale or disposal of retired IT assets.
Key Responsibilities





- IT Procurement & Sales: Manage the end-to-end purchase cycle for IT hardware, software, and networking equipment, including sourcing vendors, requesting quotes, and negotiating pricing.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the strategic sale, buyback, or e-waste disposal of obsolete IT hardware to maximize return on investment.
- Hardware & Network Support: Assemble, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and projectors.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS (Windows/Linux), and peripheral issues for internal staff.
- Network Administration: Manage and configure Local Area Networks (LAN), Wi-Fi routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance, software updates, OS formatting, patch installations, and antivirus management.
- Vendor & Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive asset register/inventory. Coordinate with external IT vendors, service centers, and internet service providers (ISPs) for repairs, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and warranty claims.
- User Management: Manage user access, email account setups, domain joins, and basic data backup/recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,



Hardware & Networking, or a related field.
- Relevant hardware/networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+) are an added advantage.

Experience

- 25 years of proven hands-on experience in IT hardware troubleshooting, desktop support, and network administration.
- Commercial Experience: Proven experience in IT hardware purchasing, vendor negotiation, and handling the sale/disposal of IT assets.
- Demonstrated experience handling multi-device environments, office IT setups, and strict inventory tracking.

Required Skills

- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with an understanding of IT hardware pricing, purchase orders (POs), warranties, and commercial terms.
- Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of computer hardware components, OS installation, and driver configurations.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN setup, Wi-Fi configuration).
- Tools: Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems, remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk), and basic server administration.
- Soft Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, excellent communication for vendor dealings, and high attention to detail for inventory tracking.

Working Days

- Monday to Saturday (Day Shift)

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Prior experience managing both the technical and commercial (sales/purchase) sides of IT infrastructure in an education, skill development center, or corporate training environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to secure the best pricing for the organization while maintaining high-quality technical support.
