Key Responsibilities

- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system and application issues.

- Perform application log monitoring, backup, maintenance, and analysis.

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot load balancers; experience with Nginx is a plus.

- Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing, connectivity, VPNs, and other network components.

- Administer and support Linux-based environments.

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.

- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, including software development and infrastructure teams.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the source of incidents and implement preventive measures.

- Document technical knowledge, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions in knowledge repositories.

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications and services.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous service improvement.

Requirements and Skills





- 5-8 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux administration.

- Proficiency in Shell Scripting.

- Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

- Valuable understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.

- Experience with load balancer configuration and troubleshooting; Nginx experience is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Masters degree is an added advantage.
