Position Title: Intern – Product Engineering

Department: Product Engineering (PE) Practice

Location: Bhopal, India

Employment Type: Internship (Unpaid)

Duration: 2 Months (Start Date: As per business requirement)

Reporting To: Assigned Technical Lead / Engineering Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Intern – Product Engineering will work as part of the engineering team to support real-world development and automation initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise software development, full-stack engineering, SDLC processes, and cloud technologies.

The internship is designed as a learning-focused engagement, enabling candidates to gain practical experience in a professional delivery environment while working closely with experienced engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of software applications

• Contribute to Full Stack Development (FSD) initiatives using:

- Frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular

- Backend services using Java or API-based architecture

• Support SDLC processes including development, testing, and deployment

• Work on debugging, testing, and performance optimization of applications





• Assist in building automation scripts or tools to improve development efficiency

• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for application development and data handling

• Participate in cloud-based development or deployment activities (Azure preferred)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned engineering tasks

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings

• Follow coding standards, best practices, and organizational guidelines

• Document technical solutions, learnings, and development activities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Strong academic background preferred

• Basic understanding of:

- Programming languages (Java, Python, or equivalent)

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Interest in full-stack development and modern engineering practices

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong learning mindset and adaptability

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Frontend development using React.js or Angular

• Backend development using Java (Spring Boot preferred)

• Knowledge of databases such as SQL or NoSQL

• Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure (App Services, APIs, or cloud fundamentals)





• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (optional, added advantage)

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Awareness of DevOps and CI/CD practices

• Robust communication and teamwork skills
