Global Markets Division: Based in Mumbai, the front-office team which works on a team extension model delivers pricing, modelling and risk management expertise to the Global Markets business. Business Overview:

Nomura AeJ Securitized Products and Private Credit team focuses on arranging, investing and providing funding across Asia ex-Japan through Senior secured, Mezzanine/Junior debt, Share financing, Quasi debt/equity deals. Team structures, underwrites and acts as lead investor/co-investor with financial institutions, banks, funds and asset managers. This role offers direct exposure to live private credit transactions across a diverse range of sectors and geographies.

Position Specifications:

Corporate Title: Analyst / Associate

Qualification: CA / Postgraduate from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 college

Experience: 1-4 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, M&A;, valuation or credit diligence for corporate lending businesses (including real estate lending)

Role & Responsibilities:

- Financial due diligence - Review the historical financials of borrower groups and validate the assumptions underlying financial projections, accounting for industry trends, competitive positioning and management guidance.
- Financial modelling - Build and maintain cash-flow, debt-sizing and returns models to support deal structuring,



sensitivity analysis and covenant setting.
- Credit and investment materials - Prepare investment memos, teasers, pitchbooks and credit committee papers to a high standard of accuracy and presentation.
- Reporting - Produce monthly and quarterly reports for deal teams on executed trades, and respond to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders.
- Cross-functional coordination - Liaise with control and support functions including Credit Risk Management (CRM), Legal, Compliance, Tax and Finance to progress transactions and resolve issues.
- Documentation and trade lifecycle - Track transaction documentation, covenant compliance, trigger events and other trade lifecycle milestones for executed deals.
- Portfolio management - Monitor and manage the performance of executed deals, including periodic reviews, covenant monitoring and early identification of credit deterioration.
- Market intelligence - Monitor macroeconomic and industry developments relevant to the portfolio and pipeline, and communicate key insights to the broader team.

Key Skills:

- Strong financial statement analysis skills spanning financial reporting, accounting and corporate finance; CFA Level I or II candidature/completion is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling.
- Detail-oriented, with a high bar for accuracy and thoroughness in execution.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage time efficiently under deadlines.
- Dependable, proactive and comfortable operating with limited supervision
