Job Description: An ITI Fitter is a skilled technical professional responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing metal parts, machinery, and mechanical systems. Core Responsibilities

- Assembly and Fitting: Put together metal components and mechanical parts to exact measurements and close tolerances using hand and power tools.

- Reading Drawings: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical schematics to understand assembly specifications.

- Fabrication and Machining: Cut, shape, drill, grind, and thread metal materials using workshop machines like lathes, drill presses, and grinders.

- Maintenance and Repair: Inspect industrial equipment routinely, troubleshoot malfunctions, and replace worn or broken parts to minimize downtime.

- Quality Control: Measure components using precision instruments like Vernier calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy and safety compliance.





Key Requirements and Skills
- Education: Pass class 10 (matriculation) followed by a 2-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Fitter trade certification (under NCVT or SCVT).

- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with measuring tools, basic welding/tack-welding techniques, and workshop calculations.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, use heavy tools, and work in active manufacturing, plant, or workshop environments.

- Safety Focus: Strict adherence to workplace safety regulations, gear, and company protocols.
