Business Head – Heavy Commercial Electric Vehicle Mobility Location: Bengaluru Industry: Heavy Commercial Vehicles | EV | Mobility | Energy Experience: 20–25 years We are looking for a Senior Business Leader from the Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry to lead and build a high-growth electric mobility business focused on buses and trucks . This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a professional who has successfully managed large-scale HCV business, sales, customer acquisition and commercial operations and is ready to build the next phase of an emerging EV ecosystem. Key Mandate Own the P&L;, revenue, EBITDA, growth and business strategy for the HCV electric mobility business. Lead Channel, Corporate, Institutional, Fleet and Franchise business development across India. Build and scale a nationwide network of battery-swapping/energy infrastructure . Develop strategic relationships with HCV OEMs, fleet operators, logistics companies, STUs, institutional customers and infrastructure partners . Drive adoption of electric trucks and buses through innovative commercial and fleet models. Build and manage a scalable franchise-led sales, operations and aftermarket ecosystem . Lead customer acquisition, network utilisation, station economics and overall customer experience. Work closely with OEMs and ecosystem partners to accelerate HCV EV adoption and battery-swapping integration . Develop and execute the business plan for a rapidly scaling business with significant investment backing.



What we are looking for ~20–25 years of overall experience , preferably in the HCV segment . ~ Strong background in trucks and/or buses . ~ Experience in National / Regional Business Leadership, Sales Leadership or P&L; ownership . ~ Proven exposure to dealer/channel, corporate, institutional and fleet sales . ~ Strong understanding of the HCV customer and commercial ecosystem. ~ Experience working with OEMs, fleet operators, government/STUs and large institutional customers . ~ EV / electric commercial vehicle / battery / charging / swapping experience will be a robust advantage. ~ Should have demonstrated the ability to build and scale a business , not just manage a sales function. ~ Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage revenue, profitability, network economics and customer experience. ~ Candidates in the 40–55 age bracket are preferred. Leadership opportunity For an exceptionally senior candidate with demonstrated end-to-end business and P&L; leadership , the role can be structured at COO level . For a strong HCV business leader, the initial mandate will be Business Head , with a clear opportunity to grow into a broader COO role as the business scales.
