Working Days: Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays off)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Budget: 4.25 - 6 LPA (based on experience and fit)

Experience: 2 to 3 years

About the Role: We are looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage the complete accounting function of a luxury residential property. This is an end-to-end accounting role involving bookkeeping, vendor payments, expense tracking, reconciliations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
n
End-to-End Accounting & Bookkeeping:
n
n
- Manage the day-to-day accounting function of the property independently.
n
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
n
- Record and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial transactions.
n
- Maintain ledgers and ensure all accounting entries are updated on time.
n
- Prepare, send and follow up on maintenance invoices and other receivables of the building.
n
n
Payments & Vendor Management:
n
n
- Process and track vendor invoices and payments.
n
- Maintain vendor accounts and reconcile outstanding balances.
n
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, and account-related queries.
n
- Ensure all payments are supported by complete and accurate documentation.
n
n
Banking, Reconciliation & Expense Management:
n
n
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
n
- Track property-related expenses, outstanding payments, advances, and reimbursements.
n
- Maintain accurate records of recurring operational expenses.
n
n
Compliance & Financial Reporting:
n
n
- Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory accounting requirements.
n
- Maintain tax-related records and supporting documentation.
n
- Assist with monthly and year-end account closing activities.
n
- Prepare financial reports, expense summaries, and MIS for management.
n
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and external consultants when required.
n
n
Financial Control & Property Coordination:
n
n
- Maintain complete and organised financial documentation for the property.
n
- Coordinate with the property management team regarding budgets, expenses, purchases, and payment requirements.
n
- Identify discrepancies, outstanding items, or missing documentation.
n
- Ensure financial processes are followed accurately and confidential information is handled responsibly.
n

What We’re Looking For
n
n
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
- Skills & Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tally/Tally Prime and MS Excel, along with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, vendor management, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
n
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organised, trustworthy, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the property’s accounting function.
