Job Purpose:

Design & Develop optics for infrared and visible systems ensuring system performance meets imaging requirement.

Accountabilities:

• Responsible for Requirements gathering, Design to Realization of imaging lens.

• Optimization, tolerancing in Zemax.

• Perform stray light analysis for imaging.

• Knowledge of design and test of optical components and system.

Mandatory Skills:

- Imaging / Lens Design
- Worked for design of EO/IR systems
- Design verification and testing
- Robust skills in using Zemax Optics Studio

Preferred Skills:

- Understanding and estimation of DRI
- Stray Light Analysis/ STOP analysis
- Zoom lens design
- Demonstrated skill of realization of electro-optical system
- Hands on with Code V
- Defense / Aerospace experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Masters in Optics/Applied Optics/Optical Engineering/Photonics

• Required experience: 4-10 years as an Optics design engineer.

• Knowledge of working with Zemax.
