Job Title: Business Development Executive– Process Automation

Job Summary:

n

Responsible for driving sales of industrial automation projects by identifying business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and managing end-to-end sales processes, including techno-commercial discussions, offer preparation, and order closure.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Identify and develop recent project opportunities in industrial automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS, Drives, Instrumentation).
n
- Engage with OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, and end users.
n
- Conduct site visits, gather project requirements, and propose automation solutions.
n
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
n
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams for offer preparation.
n
- Negotiate terms and close orders within sales targets.
n
- Coordinate with execution teams for project handover.
n
- Pipeline Management:



Maintain a healthy and forecastable sales pipeline; use CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and forecast revenue.
n
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings (especially around Siemens vs other automation vendors), and emerging use cases to inform strategy and positioning.
n
- Revenue & KPI Ownership: Achieve assigned sales targets, order booking, and margin goals; report on KPIs such as win-rate, sales cycle time, average deal size, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills:

n

n
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems (Preferably on Siemens Automation Products).
n
- Experience in B2B/project-based sales.
n
- Ability to understand client requirements and offer customized solutions.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
n
- Familiarity with automation in sectors like Chemical, pharma, F&B;, oil & gas, water, cement, or metro projects is a plus.

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
