Business Development Associate – EdTech (Course Sales + College Tie-ups)

About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Associate to sell our Career Launcher Programs (Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud/DevOps, Data & AI, QA, ERP/SAP/Web — each with Training-cum-Internship + PPO) directly to candidates, while also generating your own leads through college and institute tie-ups. This is a hustle role — you counsel and close candidates yourself, and you use your own network to open recent sourcing channels.

What You'll Do

- Counsel and close candidates on program enrollment — calls, follow-ups, objection handling, conversion.
- Generate your own lead pipeline through personal outreach, referrals, and college/institute contacts.
- Set up informal tie-ups with colleges/training centers to get access to candidate batches (talks, walk-ins, referral arrangements).
- Maintain your own pipeline and follow-up discipline — no hand-holding, no leads handed to you.





What You Bring

- 3–6 years of hands-on experience selling courses/certifications/training programs directly to candidates — EdTech, coaching institutes, certification sales, or similar.
- Existing informal relationships with colleges, training centers, or candidate communities you can tap into for leads.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and being fully accountable for your own numbers.
- Comfortable with commission-based/performance-linked compensation.

Strong Fit If You

- Have sold courses directly to candidates before and know how to handle fee/outcome objections.
- Already have some college or training-institute contacts you can use for lead generation (not formal TPO tie-ups — informal access is enough).

Not a Fit If You

- Your only experience is managing a sales team, not personally closing.
- You expect the company to supply all your leads.
