Job Summary
n
The incumbent is responsible for the design and continuous enhancement of ISB’s programmes. The role focuses on shaping impactful learning experiences by aligning faculty expertise, market relevance, and evidence-based instructional practices. It requires collaboration across academic and internal teams to ensure each programme is pedagogically solid, contextually relevant, client and learner-centric.

Key Responsibilities
n
1. Programme Design & Ownership
n
n
- Lead the design of open programmes—from theme scoping and learning architecture to faculty alignment and post-programme review.
n
- Ensure each programme is anchored in clear learning outcomes, academic rigour, and executive relevance.
n
n
2. Learning Innovation
n
n
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.
n
- Integrate experiential pedagogies such as simulations, case discussions, peer learning, and reflective exercises.
n
- Maintain standardized templates, design tools, and content structures for quality and scalability.
n
n
3. Faculty & Academic Engagement
n
n
- Identify and align faculty based on programme themes and target audience needs.
n
- Facilitate design conversations and co-develop programme structure and flow with faculty.
n
- Collaborate with ISB’s Research Centres and Centres of Excellence to embed contemporary insights.
n
n
4. Learning Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
n
n
- Review feedback and programme data to assess learning effectiveness.
n
- Recommend refinements to content, structure, and pedagogy based on insights.
n
- Align designs with ISB’s academic quality and learning impact standards.
n
n
5. Portfolio Strategy & Relevance
n
n
- Track industry trends and benchmark offerings against peer institutions.
n
- Recommend new programme themes and refresh existing ones to maintain relevance and differentiation.
n
- Ensure programme design intent is clearly articulated to internal stakeholders for effective outreach and positioning.
n
n
6. Internal Collaboration
n
n
- Share structured learning design documentation—including outlines, outcomes, flow, and faculty briefs—with internal teams.
n
- Support internal teams in aligning on academic objectives, while remaining focused on design leadership.
n
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and design capability building within the Learning Solutions team.
n
n
n
Education
n
n
- Postgraduate degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Education, or related fields.
n
n
Experience
n
n
- Relevant experience in executive education, L&D;, instructional design, or strategic consulting and client engagement expertise, with a strong focus on learning design for experienced professionals.
n
n
