Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the complete banquet and event operations of the resort, ensuring smooth execution of weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social functions while maintaining high service standards and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day banquet and event operations at the resort
Plan and execute weddings, conferences, corporate events, parties, and social functions
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and expectations
Supervise banquet staff and allocate duties, shifts, and responsibilities
Coordinate with Kitchen, F&B;, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance teams
Oversee event setup, décor, seating arrangements, food service, and breakdown
Conduct pre-event briefings and ensure all teams are aligned with event requirements
Ensure high standards of food quality, service, presentation, and guest experience
Handle VIP guests, client requests, feedback, and complaints professionally
Monitor banquet revenue, expenses, inventory, and operational costs
Drive upselling of food, beverages, packages, and additional event services
Coordinate with Sales team for event bookings, menus, quotations, and client requirements
Ensure proper billing, documentation, and event closing procedures




Prepare banquet reports, revenue reports, and performance MIS
Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, hygiene, safety, and food safety standards

Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of banquet and event operations

Strong leadership and team management abilities
Good knowledge of banquet service and event setup
Solid coordination and problem-solving skills
Sales and upselling abilities
Valuable knowledge of F&B; operations and cost control
Professional grooming and presentation

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality
5–10 years of experience in banquet/event operations
Previous experience as Banquet Manager / Assistant Banquet Manager preferred

Preferred Experience:
Experience in luxury resorts, hotels, wedding venues, destination resorts, or large banquet properties
Strong experience handling weddings, conferences, corporate events, and large social functions
Experience managing large teams and high-volume events is an added advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
