Surveyor – Civil EngineeringJob Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Surveyor to support construction projects by carrying out accurate land and construction surveys, setting out works, checking levels and coordinates, and ensuring construction activities are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and measurements before and during construction.
Carry out setting-out works for foundations, columns, walls, roads and other structures.
Establish and verify levels, coordinates, benchmarks and reference points at the project site.
Use surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, GPS and Dumpy Level.
Take accurate measurements and prepare survey reports.
Check line, level, alignment and dimensions of construction work.
Read and interpret civil engineering drawings, site plans and survey drawings.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers and contractors regarding survey requirements.
Carry out as-built surveys and maintain accurate site records.
Monitor excavation levels, foundation levels, slab levels and structural alignments.
Calculate distances, elevations, coordinates and quantities from survey data.




Identify and report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
Maintain survey equipment and ensure instruments are properly calibrated.
Maintain daily survey records, measurements and documentation.
Follow project quality, safety and surveying standards.
Support the site team in resolving technical and measurement-related issues.

Required Skills
Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
Good knowledge of Total Station and Auto Level.
Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
Knowledge of construction setting-out and leveling.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Positive mathematical and measurement skills.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work at construction sites.
Freshers with relevant training/internship may also apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
