We are hiring a Solar Sales Executive to help us put more rooftops to work.

SustVest is a full-stack rooftop solar company and independent power producer. We build, own, and operate solar assets for commercial and industrial clients, currently 30+ MW under management across 80+ projects in 13+ states. Our clients include Lodha Group, Hitachi, and Mahle. We are backed by Antler, Inflection Point Ventures, WEH Ventures, Anthill, Gruhas, and MeitY.

This is not a coffee-and-spreadsheets job. You already know how solar gets sold in India. We want you inside our sales function, owning real pipeline from week one.

What you will do

n

- Own the full sales cycle for C&I; rooftop solar, from first touch to signed PPA.
n
- Prospect factories, warehouses, commercial buildings, and institutions with high daytime load and usable roof space.
n
- Run discovery calls. Qualify on tariff, sanctioned load, roof availability, and decision timelines.

- Build savings models and proposals for our zero-investment (OPEX / RESCO) model. Explain it to a CFO in plain language.

- Coordinate site surveys with the EPC team and drive follow-ups to closure.

- Keep the CRM clean so nobody loses a warm lead to bad data.

- Work closely with the founders and sales team. We give you leads and support through the cycle. You bring the solar know-how.

What we are looking for

n

n
- 1 to 3 years of sales or BD experience in solar. Rooftop C&I; or open access preferred.
n
- Working knowledge of DISCOM tariffs, net metering, and OPEX vs CAPEX solar. You should be able to explain why a customer's per-unit cost drops.

- Comfortable writing a short, clear message to a stranger and following up until you get an answer.

- Hands-on with a CRM.
n
- Excel or Google Sheets comfort. You can build a easy savings model.
n
- Bonus: relationships with plant heads, facility managers, or CFOs in manufacturing or real estate.
n
- Bonus: familiarity with ALMM, state solar policies, or banking and settlement rules.
