Job Description

We are hiring for a leading Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad and are looking for a seasoned Fund Accounting leader with deep expertise in Hedge Fund Accounting .

This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong team management, stakeholder engagement, and client management experience within global financial services with over 14 years of experience in Fund Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Hedge Fund Accounting function, with ownership of service delivery, quality, controls, and overall portfolio performance.
n
- Lead the end-to-end Hedge Fund Accounting lifecycle, including NAV production and review, fund expense accounting, reconciliations, P&L;, corporate actions, cash and position breaks, and financial reporting.
n
- Oversee a large Hedge Fund portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of NAVs and adherence to agreed SLAs, controls, and client requirements.
n
- Drive NAV oversight and review, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and resolution of complex accounting issues across Hedge Fund structures and strategies.

- Lead and develop high-performing Hedge Fund Accounting teams,



including performance management, succession planning, coaching, and talent development.

- Act as a senior point of contact for global clients and stakeholders, managing escalations, complex accounting matters, service delivery, and relationship governance.
n
- Partner with global teams, clients, auditors, and fund participants on Hedge Fund accounting, reporting, controls, and operational requirements.
n
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, operational controls, and governance metrics, ensuring consistent delivery and a strong control environment.

We're looking for professionals with:

- 13+ years of experience with strong core expertise in Hedge Fund Accounting
n
- Significant experience managing Hedge Fund portfolios / operations
n
- Proven people leadership and team management experience
n
- Solid exposure to global clients and senior stakeholders
n
- Deep understanding of NAV, fund accounting, reconciliations, P&L;, corporate actions, and Hedge Fund structures
n
- Experience driving operational excellence, controls, transformation, and service delivery
