We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Assistant Security Officer (ASO) to support security operations and maintain safety and discipline within our manufacturing facility at Gummidipoondi.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate security guards during shifts.
Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
Ensure proper checking and verification of incoming and outgoing materials.
Monitor CCTV and report any suspicious activity or security concerns.
Maintain security registers, incident reports, and daily shift reports.
Conduct regular patrolling of the factory premises.
Ensure proper implementation of security procedures and access control.
Coordinate with HR, Administration, and Factory Management on security-related matters.
Handle emergencies and immediately escalate incidents to management.
Ensure security guards follow duty schedules, discipline, and company procedures.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial workplace.
Experience in supervising security guards.
Positive communication and leadership skills.
Basic knowledge of CCTV, access control, and emergency procedures.
Ability to work in shift operations, including night shifts.
Physically fit, alert, and disciplined.
Manufacturing/Factory security experience preferred.
