Role Description The Article Assistant – Pune will support the firm’s day-to-day operations in accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance. This internship role involves assisting in bookkeeping and ledger maintenance, preparing working papers and documentation for audits, and supporting the preparation and filing of tax returns and GST-related reports. The Article Assistant will help in data analysis, preparation of financial statements,



and maintaining accurate records for clients. The role is on-site, based in the Pune Division, and offers hands-on exposure to professional practices, client interactions, and regulatory frameworks under the guidance of experienced partners.
Qualifications

- Solid foundation in accounting principles and basic knowledge of taxation and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or tax software is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with willingness to learn and apply guidance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and professional conduct in client-facing situations.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage timelines, and collaborate within a team environment.
- Pursuing or completed relevant professional or academic qualifications (e.g., CA articleship eligibility, B.Com, or related field) is preferred.
- Interest in building a career in Chartered Accountancy, with commitment to ethical standards and continuous learning.
